Europe Day 4: Salzburg to Munich
My thoughts tend to spiral down depths when staring.
Spending so much time looking at land, I couldn’t help but to think of all its baggage. Especially the baggage of this entire continental chunk, only a part of it floating past the window of this speeding train. Europe spawned people, cultures, worlds. It also destroyed worlds, cultures and people. Its land is green, but underneath, I saw red - blood red. And it felt heavy with the weight of all those - past, present and future - who caused it.
This baggage won’t get lost, nor forgotten, on the journey.
