Europe Day 3: Salzburg
Silent Hills
Salzburg left me ambivalent.
The parts of the city I saw are pretty, neat and manicured. The river was calm, the fortress imposing, and the historic centre of the town well preserved.
But it just did not draw me in.
Maybe I did not have enough time to get lost in it. Maybe I only had time to visit the very touristy sections which were quite full. Maybe it was all the gaudy high fashion brand stores that commercialised the old town streets. Maybe it was because I kept thinking for several hours that the place to grab a bite was just around the next corner. Maybe it was all the fast-food trucks advertising bosnian ćevapi that looked nothing like the legit ones I know so well.

Maybe I was just hangry.
